Natalie's First Haircut

Natalie is three years old and has just had her very first hair cut. I love this picture! She looks so adorable and a little older then the girl I brought to get her hair cut. I hated having her curls cut off but it was beginning to feel like brushing Rapunzel's hair. Plus hopefully now Natalie won't fight me brushing her hair as much.

At the beginning of the haircut Natalie was less than excited. Look at that face. I had her sit on my lap so she would let her hair get cut.

My friend Joran did a great and quick job. It's strange when firsts happen and how that means you realize it's a milestone your child is passing through and that means they are growing up a little. I just try to take a step back and soak it in and remember the moments... no matter how small. I am also grateful for blogs, journals, etc. that help me remember better. And especially for photo that capture the moment as it is.

Silly raspberry monsters! So terrifying.

And here's another one. I will run for my life... after I'm done laughing.

Where is your favorite place to read books? Today's choice was Mom and Dad's not so tidy closet. They are such cuties.

A picture from the kitchen of Jordan and Natalie jumping on the trampoline. I'm so glad these to play so well together most of the time. Having siblings is such a blessing.

Katelyn Cutie

Here Katelyn is 8 months old. She is a mover. I have to be fast to get a good picture of her smiling at the camera now a days. She loves to learn and do all that her older siblings do. She can't wait to run around with them.

Cruising along the couch and loving it!

Here she crawled up to me to grab the camera. She already knows that Mom and Dad's toys are the best.

Here is a funny picture of a time when Katelyn was so tired that she just fell asleep face down on the carpet in her room. I thought it was so funny, I had to take a picture of it.

Play time.

One of Katelyn's absolute favorite things is bath time. She LOVES to splash in the water!

Check out the hug grin. She is in heaven. We love you little lady!

Halloween 2015

Happy Halloween!
We got ambitious with our pumpkin carving this year. We followed a paper, but still this is really good for us. Preston and I were excited about how these turned out looking.
(Hillary's is the cat and Preston's is the bat)

The kids had fun deciding what they wanted on their pumpkins. Jordan really didn't want to get his hands in the pumpkin guts. So Preston surprised him and put a bunch on his hands anyway. His reaction was an awesome freak out of "Ahhhh!" It was hilarious!

Ooooh glowing pumpkins. Through preschool Jordan has really come to like the song, "Five Little Pumpkins Sitting On A Gate." Natalie really likes it too... and to be honest, so do I... It's pretty adorable to hear them sing the whole song. I never get tired of it.

Five little pumpkins
Sitting on a gate

The first one said,
"Oh, my it's getting late!"

The second one said,
"There are witches in the air!"

The third one said,
"But we don’t care!"

The fourth one said,
"Let’s run and run and run!"

The fifth one said,
"I’m ready for some fun."

"WOOOOOOOH", went the wind,
And OUT went the light;

And the five little pumpkins
Rolled out of sight.

Beware!
Our house is full of NINJAS!
Jordan LOVES ninjas right now and so Dad had no choice in what he was going to be this year. They are quit the pair together. They also have some sweet moves.

Katelyn was a black cat for her first Halloween. Isn't she adorable?

Natalie and Mommy are witches... hence why Katelyn is a black cat. I didn't think she'd keep a witch hat on for more then a second. Being a witch for some reason has always been my favorite thing to be for Halloween (maybe because it is so classic) and so I was super excited when Natalie wanted to be witches together. Fun times!

This is the cutest witch I have ever seen.

These withes like making icky stick slimy stew.
As our kids get older it just gets more and more fun to do things with them. We love it!

We got to experience Hooper cities Halloween Haunt at the park for the first time. It was a lot of fun! With singing pumpkins, a graveyard, a carriage ride, hot chocolate and a cookie, and lots more fun Halloween activities. We are really enjoying living in small town Hooper. The picture above shows us on a pirate ship.

Boo!

This ninja did a good job keeping our little cat warm.

On our way to go trick or treating.

The kids enjoying their goodies.
We had fun walking around the neighborhood and getting to know some of our neighbors.

Some Jedi and Sith came over after trick or treating to hang out. They looked pretty legit so we let them in.

We love you O'Neals!

Family Pictures 2015

Murray Family pictures for 2015 were done at Layton Park. It's a really beautiful park with a river, large trees, and lots of space. It's funny, with our family pictures it's always the first couple are the best and from there the smiles and holding still goes down hill from there. This was our favorite family picture and it was probably picture number 3. But all you need is one good picture to frame... so we are happy with it.

Jordan 5 years old.
What a handsome, fun, silly, boy.
He is always ready for an adventure and to defeat the bad guys.

Natalie 3 years old.
What a beautiful, fun, happy, sweet girl.
She is always ready to sing, dance, and play.

Katelyn 6 months old.
What a beautiful, loving, outgoing, and adorable girl.
She is always ready to be a part of things; whether it's playing, eating, laughing, etc. with the family. She wants to be a part of all of it.

Preston and Hillary.
Married for nearly 8 1/2 years.
We love life together. We stick together through happy and hard times. We help each other and cheer for each other always. We grow and learn together. But most of all, we love each other... forever.

All because two people fell in love.

Oh, and we love to laugh!

A Family Forever.

House Warming Party

We have a big Cottonwood tree on the side of the house that Jordan loves climbing. I makes me proud to know that he likes climbing trees like I do.

We invited family and friends over to our house for a house warming party in celebration of our new home. To warm the party we had a big bonfire to burn a bunch of wood we needed to get ride of and a small fire for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows.

Kids playing in the yard. Left to right: Amelia, Paige, Natalie, Owen, and Avery.

Grandpa Murray and Katelyn... so sweet.

Katelyn and Grandma Roylance hanging out.

Jordan and Heath being tree climbers.

We really appreciated all of the love and support we felt from those that came to the get together. It was a wonderful time! We are excited for the memories and experiences we are making and will continue to make here in Hooper.

On August 22nd the man of my dreams was born. We celebrated Preston's birthday. Jordan and Natalie helped to put on the candles for Daddy's cake.

I love how the candles are all crocked. Look at that handsome fella. I love you Preston! Happy Birthday!

Little Baby K

Here are some fun pictures of Katelyn I thought need to be documented.

Here is a quick shot of a big smile while Katelyn plays in her jumper. I feel like I have this exact picture of Jordan somewhere. Jordan and Katelyn look a lot a like as babies. It's fun to see how the jeans play out. I feel like Jordan and Katelyn look more like Murrays (mostly because of the blond hair, cause Webbs sure don't have that) and Natalie looks more like the Webbs. But they all look super adorable.

Miss messy enjoying baby food for the first time. This photo doesn't show it, but she really really likes food.
This photo shows more how she's like, "what are you pointing at my face?"

Sleeping beauty.
So precious. This is why I take so many pictures, to capture these moments that our imperfect memories forget... and I never want to forget these sweet moments.

Sisters. Natalie asked if she could hold Katelyn.
I am so looking forward to these two being great friends as they grow up together.

In this picture she's thinking, "Ya, I know I'm cute."

In this picture she's thinking, "What just happened?!"

Sibling cuddle times.
