January 2015

Here is the cow elk that Preston shot in the Middle Fork Wildlife Management Area. He got the elk on the first day of the hunt. He and his brother Jared took the horses up bright and early and found the elk right close to the parking lot. Once it became light the elk decided to move up into the higher country and they had to chase them way, way up the hill. Luckily they had horses to do the hard work.

The elk were bedded down when they found them again. They tried to sneak up close to them but because the snow was so crunchy and noisy they were only able to get within about 350 yards. Preston laid down and shot and was able to get a good sized cow elk. We are excited to have meat for the next long while!

Here is Superman with a duck tap sword and a CTR shield. So glad we have this brave warrior to protect us at our home in case bad guys show up.

"Do you want to build a snowman?" We got a little bit of snow and the kids were all about making their very own snowman. They were so proud of themselves when they were done.

Nick and Cambria O'Neal welcomed their little girl Abrielle May O'Neal into their family on January 30th. She's such a beautiful baby and is so loved by her parents. We are so happy for the new Daddy and Mommy!

Cousin time!
Jordan and Natalie couldn't wait to meet their newest cousin Abrielle.

Abrielle and Katelyn will be very close in age. We can't wait for these two little ladies to meet each other!
