Happy Halloween!
We got ambitious with our pumpkin carving this year. We followed a paper, but still this is really good for us. Preston and I were excited about how these turned out looking.
(Hillary's is the cat and Preston's is the bat)
The kids had fun deciding what they wanted on their pumpkins. Jordan really didn't want to get his hands in the pumpkin guts. So Preston surprised him and put a bunch on his hands anyway. His reaction was an awesome freak out of "Ahhhh!" It was hilarious!
Ooooh glowing pumpkins. Through preschool Jordan has really come to like the song, "Five Little Pumpkins Sitting On A Gate." Natalie really likes it too... and to be honest, so do I... It's pretty adorable to hear them sing the whole song. I never get tired of it.
Five little
pumpkins
Sitting on a gate
The first one
said,
"Oh, my it's
getting late!"
The second one
said,
"There are
witches in the air!"
The third one
said,
"But we
don’t care!"
The fourth one
said,
"Let’s run
and run and run!"
The fifth one said,
"I’m ready
for some fun."
"WOOOOOOOH",
went the wind,
And OUT went the
light;
And the five
little pumpkins
Rolled out of
sight.
Beware!
Our house is full of NINJAS!
Jordan LOVES ninjas right now and so Dad had no choice in what he was going to be this year. They are quit the pair together. They also have some sweet moves.
Katelyn was a black cat for her first Halloween. Isn't she adorable?
Natalie and Mommy are witches... hence why Katelyn is a black cat. I didn't think she'd keep a witch hat on for more then a second. Being a witch for some reason has always been my favorite thing to be for Halloween (maybe because it is so classic) and so I was super excited when Natalie wanted to be witches together. Fun times!
This is the cutest witch I have ever seen.
These withes like making icky stick slimy stew.
As our kids get older it just gets more and more fun to do things with them. We love it!
We got to experience Hooper cities Halloween Haunt at the park for the first time. It was a lot of fun! With singing pumpkins, a graveyard, a carriage ride, hot chocolate and a cookie, and lots more fun Halloween activities. We are really enjoying living in small town Hooper. The picture above shows us on a pirate ship.
Boo!
This ninja did a good job keeping our little cat warm.
