Family Photos

- The Murray Family -

My good friend Michelle Williams took some family photos for us. Jordan was a little distracted during the pictures, but there still cute.

We love our little boy.

Jordan taking a look around as we look at him in all his cuteness.

Jordan's most smiley picture was of course when the photos were over. Maybe this is why my parents didn't do family photos till we were much older. It was an adventure for sure. Thanks Michelle for taking the great photos!

Jordan enjoying Fall

What a happy little guy. I love his smiles!

I had to post this picture, because every time I see it I can't help thinking that Jordan looks like he's a little boy of Canada. He picked up the leaf while I was taking photos and didn't know how to let go. It was really funny.

One of Jordan's favorite things to do is to chew on his hands. They must taste delicious because he does it all the time. I wonder what flavor they are?

I love how this picture turned out. It really shows Jordan's bright blue eyes.

Jordan's still not sure how to let go of that leaf. He has always loved looking at the leaves. I don't know what we'll do when they've all fallen down. It is so fun to see him learn and explore this big new world.

Jordan and Matthew meet

Our good friends Adam and Lisa Bourgeois were in town! We got to have our little boys meet each other for the first time! Really the parents of each were more excited than the boys... it was fun either way!

Here is Lisa and Hillary with our boys Matthew and Jordan. Matthew and Jordan were born only a few days apart.

Here is Adam and Preston. Both proud fathers of their sweet little boys.

The boys were hanging out, but I don't think they knew it. It'll be neat to see them play together when they are older and can interact more. It's always good times with the Bourgeois. So glad there were in town to see!

Happy Halloween 2010

Here is Jordan sport'in the orange. The pumpkin hat is from Grandma Suzie. What a cutie (pumpkin) pie he is!

This is the only smile I got out of him for these pictures. Ones better than nothing...

In this picture he looks a little concerned like, "Your not gonna take my binky away are you?"

Mr. Grumpy face... he was done with pictures at this point.

The "M" is for Murray... or maybe it's an upside down W for Webb... who knows?

The Murray fam at the ward Halloween party. Jordan was an M&M, Preston was the M&M wrapper, and I was I guess the M&M MoM.

Here is Jordan in his M&M outfit. A student of mine last year gave this to me. What a fun gift!

Don't forget about the socks. What fun socks on such cute feet.

The M&M and the pumpkin... little buddies.
This is me and my friend Michelle. We have lots of fun together with our little guys.

Hunting Trip Fall 2010

Preston and his older brother Jared went hunting up in their old stomping grounds near their grandpa's family cabin in the Monte Cristo area through Ogden Canyon. During the hunt, Jared shot himself an elk and a deer. He was quite happy with himself... and what hunter wouldn't be? Preston, Russell, and Charlie all had fun experiencing the manly sport of hunting.

There is a reason why the guys only brought back the legs and head of the elk. It was too huge to bring back the rest... even with two horses to help them! It was a five point elk! Jared also shot the elk at dusk, which had the guys working late into the night. They got back to the cabin at 12:30 a.m. They were tuckered out to say the least, but were happy with the success of the day.

Jordan, Shaylee, and I hung out at the cabin while the guys were off hunting. Jordan loved to look at all of the new things in the cabin. He's such a curious little boy. We saw some deer from the cabin's deck and a moose too! I was excited but Jordan at the time was more interested in munching on his hand... oh well.

Here's Preston with the bounty of the hunt. If you compare the size of the elk head to the entire deer, you can imagine just how big the rest of the body of the elk was. Jared plans to mount the elk antlers when he gets home. Though I'm not sure where Shaylee will let him hang them.

Here is Charlie holding up the elk head. That is kind'a gross from this angle... you can see it's teeth and everything. Charlie looks like he's lov'in it!

Here are the manly men cutting up the meat. Yummmm... doesn't that make you hungry? The meat hanging to the right of the dear are two of the elk legs. What a big animal!

Ah, the happy hunters. Well done men!

Bath Time! He's thinking... wow this is really different.

There is just so much to smile about.

Our little child of God. What a precious spirit that is in our home.

Hey what's that over there?

Jordan's thinking these moving toys are amazing!

Everyone loves to hold Jordan

Grandma Suzie loved the time she spent with her newest grandchild. She was such a great help for those first weeks. Moms are so wonderful! I so appreciate all that she did to help and for the great support she was and always is. Thank you mom!

Great-Grandma Carol holding Jordan at her home in Springville.

Great-Grandmother Hudson and Grandma Suzie having a great time visiting and spending time with Jordan. It was really great to have Grandma Hudson there for Jordan's baby blessing. What a neat surprise.

Preston is such a wonderful dad! He loves his little boy so much. I can see these two guys having many more great hang out times together.

That's one happy grandpa.

Grandma Annette and little Jordan when he was 2 days old.

Aunt Shaylee lov'in the cuddles.

Uncle Nic and Aunt Cam enjoying their new nephew.

I'm the luckiest one... because I get to hold him the most. We are so glad that Jordan has been sent here by his Heavenly Father to be with us. We love him more and more each day!

The Jordanelle Triathlon

Get ready, get set, GO!!! The athletes begin their race with a mile swim in the Jordanelle Reservoir. Funny that we just had a son named Jordan and the triathlon is held at Jordanelle... coincidence... I think not. It must be destiny that brought these ambitious guys to this crazy race. Good luck men... we're root'en for ya!

Preston focused on the next leg of the race.

Charlie out of the water and moving on towards his bike.

Preston looking happy to be entering his favorite part of the race. 26 miles here he comes!

Transition one... swim to bike.

6 mile run... You're almost there Preston!

Go Charlie! You're doing great!

Preston and Charlie after the race. They made it! Way to go guys!

Preston and our friend Kevin... the guy who talked Preston into the triathlon.

What an exciting day!
