Some summer goings on...

Here are my mighty hunters. Jordan loves to do whatever his Daddy is doing. Here he is checking out his Dad's sweet bow.

We thought it would be fun to set up the tent in out living room. We got the idea when we went to Sportsman's Warehouse and Jordan kept climbing into the tent they had set up. So we went home and had our own little camping inside. We eat marshmallows and watched a movie while sitting in the tent. Jordan loved it!

One day when Jordan and I went to the park we were lucky enough to see a firetruck show up. Some elementary kids were learning about firemen in a field trip. Jordan got to walk in the firetruck and received a yellow firemen hat and shiny sticker. He was so happy... though he still wanted to drive the firetruck.

The other pictures are of Jordan falling asleep while eating dinner. It was too cute and too rare a sit not to document. He didn't want to take a nap this day, but obviously needed one. What a silly boy.

Peppersauce Cave

Preston went with some friends to the Peppersauce cave in the Catalina Mountains near Oro Valley. He went with his friends Scott (Arizona shirt), Marcor (left back), and Marcor's cousin Zarin (left front). It was a great reprieve from the hot weather.

The caves actually had water in them which is amazing considering the only water around here is pulled from deep wells. Here is Preston in front of the main lake in the cave.

Here is my tough guy posing in front of a large hole. It gives a perspective of how cool the caves really are.

Here are some stalactites and stalagmites that have connected to each other. You can see the layers that have poured down on the stalagmite over the years.

After a long time of playing around in the mud, my fearless weekend warrior and his friends made it out dirty, tired, and happy.

Lions, Tigers, and Bears

Preston, Jordan, and I went to the zoo last Saturday. Preston had never been and Jordan was very excited to see the animals again. We all had a wonderful time together. Here is Jordan sitting on a peacock statue. He thought is was way cool!

We saw so many animals that day! Jordan could say most of the names and enjoyed seeing all of them. What a cute boy. He loves animals!

Jordan thought the giraffes were amazing, mostly because they're so big. He thinks anything big is awesome. He walked around after the giraffes saying, "Big ones... big!"

Preston showed Jordan the elephants. He looked pretty surprised at how big they were. I don't think he remembered the elephants from the last time we came to the zoo.

Here are some fun pictures of Jordan. He had a good time playing on the xylophone.

He found this frog statue that has a button. When you push the button water sprays out of the frog. He loved playing with it. He even tried taking a drink or two. When we said we needed to move on and see more animals we told him to give it a kiss... and the cutie did it. He's so sweet.

Afterwards we went to the park near by and had lunch. Preston showed Jordan the fun of chasing birds. He thought is was the best thing ever. Jordan loves to do whatever his Daddy does.

We had a wonderful time at the zoo together. Jordan brightens our lives every day. We are so blessed to have our sweet boy. We are excited for our little Natalie to join our family and be another bright light in our lives. We love our growing family!
