Washington Trip June 2013 (part 2)

Have I ever mentioned that "I LOVE TREES?!" The taller and bigger the better.

Here is a fun picture of Grandma Suzie and little Natalie. So sweet.

While we were in Washington and Preston was in Arizona he decided it would be fun to see how thick of a beard he could grow. Here he is after not shaving for 3 weeks. It was a lot more read than I thought it would be. Here he is with his beard, goatee, and mustache.

Preston asked me what I thought of the facial hair: With the beard I said, "You look like Jared (Preston's Bro), with the goatee you look like Bryce (Preston's Bro), with the mustache you look like Russell (Preston's Dad)." Then he shaved it all off and I said, "Now you look like you."

We had fun one afternoon at Lions Field Park.

Living on the edge of the woods gives the fun opportunity to see some wildlife. "Hi Bambi." Watch out for my hubby, he's a hunter.

Here's Jordan being a good big brother and pushing Natalie in the stroller. They are peaking at each other through a section in the stroller. So cute.

Preston and Jordan had fun playing with the old go-cart while in Bremerton. Preston even got it running. He's got big plans in the future to fix it up sometime. Boys and their toys. Jordan called the go-cart his car.

We went to the golfing range with Bart, Gayleen, and Mom. Here is Jordan practicing his swing. He also found some baseball gear. He was feeling pretty cool.

Later we moved on to doing some miniature golf. It was interesting for me to try and swing with one hand, since Natalie was in the front pack. But I actually ended up dong ok at it. Natalie loved holding onto the golf club and wouldn't let go for me to swing until someone else let her hold theirs. Preston chased Jordan around the miniature golf course most of the time. Always an adventure.

We got to have a nice visit the Peterson's. We love to see them whenever we can. Jordan and Preston got to go on a tractor ride with Bishop Peterson. In the picture you can see that he even got to steer the tractor around. Jordan was the happiest kid in the world.

Mom, Bart, Gayleen, and the fam went to a fun park in Port Orchard. It has a bunch of spinny toys that were great to try out, but we could only spin for so long.

We were able to go kayaking down by the Tracyton boat ramp. Jordan can never say he hasn't been kayaking. He sat with me in my kayak and he, Preston, and I paddled around for a while. I was nervous Jordan would flip up over. I kept telling him to not touch the water because it was cold. He did a great job and we came out dry. I really enjoy kayaking, especially in the Puget Sound.

We had a fun 4th of July with the Brown's (Gayleen's parents). They were so fun to get to know! Her we are getting dinner ready. It was delicious with hot dogs, hamburgers, frys, watermelon, jello, and I'm sure I'm leaving some other traditional American food out... oh ya, smores.

Here we are roasting some smores outside. Jordan tried one, but ended up just wanting the marshmallow and chocolate... figures.

The 4th of July isn't complete without fireworks. Jordan actually enjoyed fireworks this year. He especially liked the bee fireworks that shot up into the sky. We had a very Happy 4th of July!
