Family Photos Fall 2011

Last week my brother Charlie was kind enough to be our family photographer. He did an amazing job! We absolutely love the photos! Here they are for all of you to enjoy!

These photos where taken on the BYU campus. Our little boy is getting so big and is such a joy in our lives. This is our last semester at BYU and we are trying to enjoy every minute of it before we move on to...... ??? TBA

The colors in Rock Canyon were amazing! It looks almost unreal.... but it's not, I promise. I love how the leaves in this picture has a touch of green in them. It is a gorgeous contrast!

Here is a super cute picture of Jordan and his Mommy. Jordan was trying to get me to eat the leaf. What a precious moment.

Here's another precious moment of Jordan and his Daddy. Jordan loves ducks and had a blast chasing them at the duck pond on BYU campus.

Here is the Murray Family as of Fall 2011. We are happy and so blessed to be sealed together for time and all eternity. Families can be together forever and we plan on making the Murray family one that will last always.

Fall Colors

I love Utah in the Fall! We have been out and about enjoying the many colors that are covering the mountains at this time. It is breath taking! This picture was taken in Provo Canyon.

Here is another one of Provo Canyon. I often think of how my Dad loved Fall in Utah too. This season reminds me of him. I can picture him tromping through the mountains going hunting with his dad and brother.

It is amazing to see the beauty and variety of the leaves. Heavenly Father is an amazing artist!

I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful Fall season where ever you are.

Hunting Efficiency

Here is a video of Preston and Jared (Preston's brother) going hunting yesterday evening October 10th. They had planned to go hunting till Wednesday but amazingly got back that same night after Preston shot himself a deer. Way to go guys on hunting so efficiently! Those Murray boys sure know how to hunt.

Pink Series 13.1 Race

On October 8th I participated in the Pink Series half marathon in Park City. Here is a picture my friend Shauna and I after the race. This was Shauna's first half marathon and she did awesome! Way to go!

Here's a part of the course. The neat thing about this race is that it was a women's only race... no guys aloud. This was a fun atmosphere to be in... girl power right. The race was a breast cancer awareness race. What a good cause and what a good race.

Here is myself and a new found friend of mine finishing the race. We both had severe knees pains early on and unfortunately had to walk the majority of the race. But we got to do it together and it really made for an enjoyable speed walk.

Here I am finished with the race and happy to be so. I was disappointed that I couldn't run most of the race but was proud of myself for deciding to still finish.

I am so grateful for my sweet family's support. Preston and Jordan were there at the finish line to cheer me on. I love them so much and couldn't accomplish so much without them.

We love our little boy Jordan!!!

Here is a fun collage of him at different ages. We feel so blessed every day to be his parents and to help and watch him grow and learn. What a bright light he is in our lives. He's our little one. xoxo

The Dirty Dash!

On September 17th "Team Super Cool" ran the Dirty Dash!

(left to right) Whitney Banner, Kevin Banner, Preston, Jordan, Hillary, Bart, Ryan Frandsen, and Charlie. It was by far the funnest race I have ever participated in! We had obstacles to pass through/over, team racing fun of helping and hindering each other, mud and water everywhere, and all of that combined made for an amazing race.

We all wore tie dye... even Jordan. Maybe someday we'll be able to run races with Jordan. What fun that would be!

We ran the muddiest race we've ever ran in our lives and we loved it!!! What a fun experience to be crazy, messy, ridiculous, and to feel cool about it. Well done "Team Super Cool!"

Aqua Tri

When most people go to Seven Peaks they go for a fun playful time in the water. When Preston goes to Seven Peaks he goes for an intense Aqua Triathlon Sprint. To each their own...

Preston and his good friend Kevin participated in a triathlon on September 3rd. Here is a picture of these buff guys before the race. Do they look ready or what?

Here is Whitney (Kevin's wife), myself, and Jordan being the cheerleaders for our crazy guys.

It was an early morning race so Jordan and I were cuddled up close to stay warm. Super cute huh... the only way I got Jordan to not squirm away was by giving him a bottle. Food is the way to any guys heart, not matter the size.

Here is Preston transitioning from biking and going to swimming. This particular tri was arranged differently. It went: run, bike, swim. In most tri races the run and swim are reversed. But since the athletes were swimming in a pool and were fairly easy to keep track of, so the swim was last for this race.

Here is Preston sprinting to the finish line after the swim. He wanted so bad to beat those two guys... and he did it by a second! Woohoo!
