Jordan and Friends

Here is Jordan hanging out with his buddy Tyler. Michelle and Ryan Williams stopped by while they were in town. It was so fun to see them and to compare how the boys have grown in the past months. They are only a week or so apart in age.

Now the boys are at least old enough to know that they are in the same room with each other.

Here is Isaac and Jordan. I got to babysit Isaac one day. Jordan had fun looking at another baby.

Hanging out on the bed... Jordan and Isaac spending some time relaxing.

I love Spring!

I love Spring! In celebration of the first day of spring being last Sunday I wanted to post these pictures of the beauties of this earth. To start off, what is spring without Rhody bushes.... a Washington favorite.

Anyone from Bremerton will recognize the view of the mountains called "The Brothers." Growing up I thought it was fun when my brothers hiked "The Brothers" for scouting trips. The water below the mountains is the great Puget Sound. I love kayaking the Sound in the spring and summer time.

This flower is a poppy. You can often see these wild flowers around. They are small but are bright and vibrant in color. The following flower pictures were taken by the Webb family botanist, Ron (my bro).

Lilac bushes are so pretty. They also give off a wonderful sweet smell. For all of those with pollen allergies... my apologies. But I think spring smells awesome!

Don't forget about the wonderful fruit that's coming. These are kiwi's... did you know that kiwi's can grow in Washington? It's true! And they are delicious!

Here are some grapes. I think my favorite fruit or berry actually are raspberries. But I didn't have a picture of any. When I was younger we had a big raspberry patch. I think I eat more berries than I ever actually got into the bowl. Yummm....

Wherever you are I hope that you enjoy this spring with all of it's colors, smells, and beauty.

Special Things

Here is Jordan at 6 months with a baby blanket that Grandma Suzie (my Mom) made for him. It is so special to have something made just for you and even more special when it's from your grandma. I feel lucky that I got to choose the yarn for the blanket. It's perfect Mom... thanks for the precious gift!

Jordan looks comfy in his baby blue baby blanket.
(Now try to say that three times fast.)

Bedtime...

Just kidding... play time.

Here is Jordan wearing a blue sweater made by my Great-Grandmother Henderson. You gotta have documentation that they wore it at least once right? Jordan thinks it's yummy.

What a cute little boy! I think it's really special to have some things from my Great-Grandmother. It is neat to think she made this with her own hands and now generations later, her great-great-grandchild is wearing it. (That took some thought to figure out.. I won't lie.)

This brown sweater was also made by my Great-Grandmother Henderson. Mom said that she has a picture of Ben (my bro) wearing it when he was little. Jordan is also sitting on a white blanket made by Great-Grandmother Henderson. It was the blanket he was blessed with for his baby blessing.

Jordan's shirt says, "Charmer" on it and I have to agree. He has his parents hearts wrapped fully around his little finger. We love our little charmer!
