Having A Holly Jolly Time

We bought a beautiful evergreen Christmas tree this year. It smells amazing and always makes me think of my happy childhood days in Washington. The kids were great helpers in decorating the tree.

Ta da! We had a fun time putting ornaments on the tree together as a family. This is what Christmas is all about... family times together.

Jordan and I made sugar cookies and we all decorated them together with frosting and sprinkles. Jordan did a marvelous job using the rolling pin and using the cookie cutters. Uncle Nick and Aunt Cambria even came over to decorate cookies. It is so fun having them live just down the street!

Here Natalie is showing us her frosting covered fingers. It was also neat to watch the kids decorate their cookies the way they wanted them. We enjoy seeing their personalities and what there favorite things are. Jordan liked LOTS of frosting and chocolate chips on his and Natalie liked the red aka "pink" (her favorite color) frosting with sprinkles.

Preston and Dad went with Grandpa Murray, Marissa, and Cam to see the Christmas lights in Ogden. Once Jordan started running around he was warm enough enjoy the sights more. They even went to get some Farr's ice cream afterwords. Those Murray boys will never say no to ice cream. (Natalie was sick, so us girls had a nice Tinkerbell movie night together at home.)

One of Natalie's favorite games is hiding and being found. Here is a time when she was hiding between the couch and the Christmas tree. She gets so excited and always said, "Hide again!"

We like to give goodies to our friends and neighbors. This year we went a little crazy and made a bunch of cookies. My favorite part is dropping the goodies off and wishing the recipients a Merry Christmas. It's especially cute hearing Jordan and Natalie say "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!"

Time to be crafty. I've wanted to make this birthday craft for my Mom for a while now. I got the idea from Great Grandma Murray's house where her daughter and granddaughter made one for her. It has the months of the year and below her children, their spouses, and grandchildren's names and birth dates on it. It's a fun way to remember birthdays. I will keep adding to it as the years go and more spouses and/or grandchildren join the family.

I have a lot of extra hearts from this project and so here is Natalie helping me paint some. Consequently the picture of me showing my Mom's gift also is a good prego belly picture. We are getting really excited to meet our second little girl in March!

Jordan and Natalie had some fun cousin time with Clara and Emmy this December. Here they are cooking in the play kitchen together.

Left to right: Jordan, Emmy, Clara, and Natalie. It's fun to see these kids spend time together. In this picture they're watching a movie together. What a fun and jolly time the Christmas season is!

Thanksgiving 2014

We had a Webb family Thanksgiving this year and we started it off with a Turkey Trot race. Charlie and Melissa were going to participate in a race Thanksgiving morning and invited any Webb's that wanted to. Preston ran the 4 mile and my Mom and I walked the 2 mile while pushing Jordan and Natalie in strollers.

Melissa's family the Kemps seem to do this race every year, among other races during the year. They have matching shirts and as you can tell they also have good balance.

Here's a picture of a handsome runner I saw in the race.

Here are the Webb participants in the race. Left to right: Melissa, Charlie, Preston, Mom, Rebekah, Ben, Hillary, and Deborah (Rebekah's sis)... Plus two kiddos that were troopers during the run. It was fun to do a race together.

We rewarded the kids with playground time after the race. They always love exploring a new playground.

Next it was on to business aka apple pie making. It is a well known Webb family tradition that when we all get together, be it Thanksgiving or whatever the reason... apple pies must be involved. You might not be able to tell but in the upper right picture Charlie is stealing a kiss from his wifey. In the lower right picture Charlie is trying to jump rope with a string of apple peal. He got about two jumps before it broke. Good effort Char.

Grandma Sharon was able to come down from Idaho Falls for the Thanksgiving festivities. It is nice that she lives closer to family now so that we can see her more often.

Dinner time. Here Natalie is eating some Thanksgiving food, her favorite on her plate isn't the turkey, mashed potatoes, etc. it's the bananas. This girl likes her fruit.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Ben and Rebekah's home in Orem. They are great hosts and are always so welcoming. It was a wonderful time to be together.

At dinner we sang happy birthday to both Grandma Carol (December 2nd) and Grandma Sharon (November 22nd).

After dinner Ron got out some calligraphy materials to show Grandma Sharon his skills in Chinese calligraphy. She thought it was very artistic.

Another Webb family tradition is when you get together, you make the very most of your time... which means sleep takes the back burner. We always stay up late when we get together and with that comes being very silly. But that's ok because hilarious memories are made.

For example, one night we went back to Charlie and Melissa's place and played some card games. As the night progressed so did everyones silliness. The climax was when Charlie and Preston began stuffing tiny marshmallows into their mouths while trying to talk. Then when their mouths were full they began trying to toss marshmallows into eachother's already full mouths. The rest of us watching were laughing so hard we couldn't breath. Like I said, great memories made.

We spent an afternoon with Grandma Suzie in Provo the fallowing Monday. Here we are at the beloved BYU Creamery.

Here the kids are enjoying yummy ice cream.

We also had fun at the duck pond. Yes, that is a picture of Jordan chasing a duck. Go gett'em Super Man. I'm so glad my Mom came down for Thanksgiving. We love spending time with her. Next time we get together will be in March when our little Katelyn Suzanne will be arriving.

Cambria's Baby Shower

I had the wonderful privilege of being a part of planning Cambria's baby shower! The O'Neal's are expecting their little girl at the end of January. We are so excited for them!

It was so fun to have so many Murray's in one place. There's a lovely photo of Marissa and in the upper right photo is Nick's Mom, sister, and nieces. I've heard Nick and Cam's nieces are so excited for a girl cousin.

Cam was so fun to watch open gifts. She liked them all to be on display, which made for a huge pill at the end of the shower. Also, Cambria has a love for elephants and her in this picture she is opening an elephant stuffed animal. Look at the big smile on her face. She actually got a lot of elephant baby items. Lucky her and lucky baby.

We played a game of guess what baby item is in the bag. The trick is you can't look you just have to feel and guess. It was fun to see what people came up with. It was a fun shower and I know it made Cam feel loved, which is the point of a shower in my opinion.

Here is a prego picture of Cambria and Hillary.
Cam is due January 25th and Hill is due March 12th. We are both having girls. We are excited for these two babies to be close cousins. Natalie will show these girls the ropes and Jordan will be their protector. What exciting times ahead.

Halloween 2014

Happy Halloween from the greatest super heroes around! Meet Superman and Spiderwomen!

Jordan wanted to be Superman for Halloween this year and so the rest of us fallowed in doing a family super hero theme. It was sooooo much fun! Check it out: Superman, Spiderwomen, Green Lantern, and Wonder Women... an unstoppable team.

Have you ever seen a prego Wonder Women? Well now you have!

Here is Green Lantern and the little supers walking to the church for the trunker treat.
(p.s. I think this picture is so adorable.)

The kids had so much fun at the trunker treat! The weather was perfect and the candy was delicious. Natalie and Jordan had fun seeing everyone's costumes. Especially when they saw fellow super heroes.

Here the super family is hanging out at Uncle Nick and Aunt Cam's decorated trunk. It is so fun to be in the same ward with Nick and Cam. They are a none stop blast! Can you tell in this picture Natalie just wants to be done smiling so she can eat some more candy? Funny and not too surprising, our kids love "goodies."

Aunt Marissa even came to the Halloween festivities! She was a pirate and Cam was a cat.

It was the best one we've had so far. Who knows what we'll be for next year? Now it's time to eat some of Jordan's peanut butter candy... he doesn't like it... so it's free game for Mom and Dad.  Yumm.

Natalie's 2nd Birthday!

Happy Birthday Natalie! She is now 2 years old!

Natalie is 2 years old.
Here are her stats from her check up:
Stature 33.5 in. 48th percentile
Weight 27 lbs. 0 oz. 70th percentile

Here are three photos: blowing the candle out, eating the cake, and family around to celebrate. It was fun having family around to enjoy this special time together.

The opening of presents. I love Natalie's face in this fuzzy picture... it's fuzzy because I was laughing. She opened up the present from Grandma and Grandpa Murray and saw Olaf the snowman inside and made this amazed face. So cute!

This is Natalie's BIG smile. This means she had a very Happy Birthday! Thanks to all that came to share in the fun times. We can hardly believe Natalie is 2!

Some of Natalie's favorite things: She likes to dance, sing, smile, and give hugs. She likes Tinkerbell, Belle, and Spider Woman. She is starting to have big opinions on what she does and doesn't want to do. Everyone always comments on her beautiful blue eyes. I love how her hair curls in little ringlets at the bottom. She likes having cuddle time... especially when stalling to go to bed. She likes cake more than ice cream. She melts our hearts all the time with her sweet hugs and kisses. We love you Natalie!

Family Fun

We wanted to go up into the mountains to catch some of the fall colors before they were gone. We went up by Snowbasin Ski Resort. We found a fun trail to explore and had a wonderful time.

When the kids got tired of walking.. or the parents got tired of carrying we found a little meadow and sat down for a picnic. It was such a beautiful day to be outside and enjoy the Fall season! Natalie had fun throwing leaves as we walked. I thought it was pretty adorable.

A view of some sweeties and some mountains. What a fun time. I am so grateful for this beautiful earth that enriches our lives as we pay attention to all that is around us.

Jordan and Natalie wanted to help us make some pumpkin cookies. They got really into it! The were marvelous stirrers and taste testers.

For one of our Family Home Evenings we had a Halloween goodie that was what we call worms in dirt (aka) gummy worms and chocolate pudding. Not surprisingly it was a great hit. Thank you internet for your fun Halloween ideas.

Jordan is really into super heroes and because of that his little sis is too. One morning they both decided while still in their pajamas; to dress up in as super heroes using their favorite blankets as capes and putting on their masks. It was so adorable! I'm glad I have these brave super heroes to protect me from bad guys.

Since Natalie is an October birthday, I love to dress her up in orange and black this time of year. Isn't she such a cute little lady?

This is the cutest photo bomb I've ever seen.

Jordan wanted to be in the picture too. Our sweet kids. It is so fun to see them play together.

Here is a little sneak peak of what Halloween will entail. It looks like serious business. Watch out bad guys, because you're going down.

Pumpkin Patch

Over Conference weekend we also went to a pumpkin patch that Nick and Cambria knew about. It was close by and free. Can't beat that! We had fun walking around and choosing pumpkins.

We picked a variety of sizes and colors. After we had our pumpkins that kiddos wanted to swing on Nick and Cambria's friends swings in their back yard. These kids like to swing, especially Natalie.

After some lunch Nick and Preston got to work on pumpkin carving. Jordan picked the faces he wanted on the pumpkins. Both Jordan and Natalie were very excited to have pumpkins, as you can see by their expressions. It was very cute.

While the carving was going on Cam and I painted our nails in Halloween colors. Natalie wanted to join in the fun too. So for the first time ever in her life I painted her nails! She was actually so fascinated by the experience that she held still really well. She picked the color purple and was so excited to have toes painted just like us. Fun girl time together.

The guys also played some bocce ball in the yard. Jordan requested one of his favorites at the O'Neal house.. Jumping out of the tree. Don't worry, Dad is always there to catch him. Jordan isn't afraid of heights which makes me proud.

Here's our family funny face while at the pumpkin patch. We had a wonderful day with Uncle Nick and Aunt Cam. They are some of our favorite people in the entire world. Thanks for the good times and the great memories made!
