Charlie and Melissa's Wedding

On August 14th, Charlie and Melissa were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. It was wonderful to be there to support and celebrate their special day. They are a fantastic couple and will be wonderful spouses for each other. We are so happy for them!

A view of my favorite temple. I love the history, sacrifice, beauty, and grandeur of this sacred temple.

Here they are exiting the temple! Mr. and Mrs. Webb! Look at the smiles on their faces. Love it!

Looking at the beautiful grounds on temple square reminds me of when Preston and I were married here about 7 years ago. Wonderful times in the past and wonderful memories being made this day.

A picture of some of the group outside the temple. Mom, the Peterson's (who were so awesome to come from Washington), Rebekah, etc.

The kids entertained themselves pretty well outside the temple. Here Jordan and his cousins Grant, Collin, and Heath are throwing paper airplanes. Natalie is sitting with some of the other cousins Claire and Paige. It was so fun to have our kids play with their cousins during this wedding time.

What a gorgeous day to get married. Great planning Charlie and Melissa.

Natalie and Jordan looking as cute as can be.

One silly picture and one smiley picture of Ron, Bart, and Heather.

Caught a picture of Jordan hiding in one of the indentations of the temple walls. He looks pretty dashing if I must say. Here's Natalie with her super big grin. I love these kiddos!

A nice picture with Aunt Heather. So glad to have so much family around.

Bart and Preston looking good holding flowers.

Claire, Natalie, Paige looking pretty in pink.

Congratulations Charlie and Melissa! We love you and are so happy for you both!

Ogden Temple Open House

Here is a picture of the newly redone Ogden Temple.
We had the opportunity and good timing to be moved back to Utah in time to attend the open house... and with my Mom too!

The kids favorite part was of course the fountain. It's amazing how kids are attracted to large amounts of water. Good news, no one feel in.

"Smile!" Natalie's checking to see if Jordan is smiling. Yes, he's smiling and with his eyes closed even. Silly kiddos.

It was wonderful to walk through the temple, see the beauty within, and to feel the spirit of peace inside. I'm so glad my Mom was able to go with us too.

"I love to see the temple."

Jordan's 4th Birthday!

Jordan turned 4 years old!

Here are his stats from his check up:
Length 42 in. 85th percentile
Weight 42 lbs. 0 oz. 90th percentile

Jordan's favorite colors are blue and red. (It works well decoration wise for a July birthday.) He like frosting, but not so much cake. Though he actually ate his entire piece of cake... I'm thinking that's because of the colors.

Jordan is WAY into super heroes right now. He can't decide on a favorite, it changes every day. But he got a Spiderman, Bateman, and Iron Man toy... that's a good start. He also really likes Legos. It's fun to see him build his own creations out of his imagination.

Here is some of the fam that came over for the party. We love having so much family around!

Here Natalie was helping video the event. Thanks Little Lady. She was also interested in the toys her big bro got. It's fun to watch the sibling interactions.

We love our Jordan so much and we can hardly believe it was only 4 years ago that we became parents. He is our wonderful boy who is full of fun and energy. He's always ready to defeat the bad guys, jump on the trampoline, or put Legos together. Happy Birthday J Man!

Cabin Adventures

The Murray fam had a fun chance to get together at the family cabin. We had a blast playing games, exploring outside, and just being together.

This swings have been at the cabin for years and years... kids still love them as much as ever.

Here are some pictures of Natalie and Jordan spending some time with their little cousin Emmy. They were really interested in watching and talking to her.

This boy LOVES going for 4-wheeler rides. Just check out that all out smile.

Here is Jordan's super cool pose on the 4-wheeler. The next picture is Jordan going for a ride with Dad and Grandpa Murray.

Natalie also enjoyed rides with Dad.

We all went up to a meadow area called Moose Lake. It was so beautiful this time of year covered in flowers.

Natalie taking time to stop and smell the flowers. So sweet.

Preston did some fishing with Jordan and Natalie. They didn't last too long, considering their attention spans. Dad kept fishing and we tried other options.

Natalie and Mommy did a little horse riding with the helpful guidance of Uncle Jared. It's so cute to hear Natalie say, "nay nay."

Also some canoeing fun.

Preston found this in the cabin... a "Snuggie." He tried it on and I had to take a picture. Can't imagine why someone would leave this at the cabin... (wink wink). At least now I know what to get Preston for Christmas.

It was a wonderful time being together as a fam and enjoying time out in nature away from the city. Thanks everyone for coming and making it so much fun!

4th of July (part 2)

Ready set for pictures galore. Here we are at the 4th of July parade in Layton. I like the middle picture the best of Jodan and cousin Clara sitting on Granpa's lap. Super cute.

Fam at the parade. Aunt Marissa, Grandpa Russell, Aunt Cambria, Uncle Nick, and Aunt Mikara and Uncle Bryce (plus fam) were in town from Ohio. It was a party!

Jordan and Clara found the blow up toys after the parade. They loved it!

Later that day we all went to Jared and Shaylee's house for a 4th of July BBQ. Here's Natalie doing her biggest smile.

A sweet one with Grandpa.

Just playing around.

At Jared and Shaylee's house they have this little play house. Natalie loved opening and shutting the door while inviting us in.

Happy 4th of July everyone!

Plus some other fun cousin times after the 4th.

4th of July (part 1)

There are a few holidays were I enjoy dressing my kids up in the colors of the holiday, the 4th of July is one of them. So here they are sporting their red, white, and blue.

Here's a view of the gang that came to Grandma Carol's for the 4th of July get together at her home in Springville. It was a bunch of fun seeing everyone, playing, eating food, and watching fireworks.

Mommy giving Natalie kisses, the super cute engaged couple Melissa and Charlie, and some other fun photos captured on this fun evening.

The Murray's showing their love of America!
Happy 4th of July!
